B was a really hard letter for me. It isn't that I had a hard time thinking of a work, but there were too many interesting words to explore: bildungsroman, biographies, blog tours, the list goes on and on. But I eventually settled on blogging.
I started blogging two months ago now and though not everyone I know understands why I blog, I enjoy it so much. Having started blogging, I have come into contact with some amazing authors and bloggers. It also lets me explore topics that interest me and start conversations about them with other people.

I must say that my favourite thing is the same as yours. I love connecting with other writers, finding blogs of professional authors, and thus sharing experiences with others.
ReplyDeleteThe shiny things: people. Seriously, blogging has made me a writer in ways I never could have imagined--from reading other's expertise, to contests, to critique partners, to the free cheese. Oh wait, that wasn't on the blog-o-sphere, it's on my desk! Ah, cheese...
ReplyDeleteTraci, I agree. Blogging and FB has me in contact with people I'd never otherwise hear from. Keep at it!
ReplyDeleteI love connecting with other bloggers and exchanging ideas and banter. That's why I love the A-Z Challenge so much - so many great new blogs to read! :-)

Yes, I think the connections I make, and hopefully the positive influence I have makes it all worthwhile. Happy A to Z!
